Classical Revolution PDX is inviting musicians to perform at our annual Bachxing Day concert on December 26th, 2016 at Curious Comedy Theater. This is a celebration of all things Bach. Like years past, we organize one large ensemble piece and invite you to play in the group. We also help organize a great program of smaller ensembles and soloists who wish to perform their favorite Bach-related pieces.

This year we are excited to be collaborating with Opera On Tap to bring JS Bach’s Kaffee Cantata to the stage as our large ensemble piece. Instrumentation includes violin, viola, cello/bass, continuo and flute obligato to accompany the tenor, bass, and soprano vocalists.

When: Monday, December 26th, 2016, 7-10 pm

Where: Curious Comedy Theater – 5225 NE MLK Jr. Blvd, Portland
This is a community-driven, volunteer concert meant to be fun and relaxed. We want everyone to have a great time whether you come to play, sing, or just to listen.
